F10 528i Noise in Reverse Gear

My recently purchased 528i F10 makes a whining noise when in reverse, it sounds like an electric remote car. When driving forwards there is no noise and the gears shift correctly. Question, is this a common noise? Anything to worry about? Or is it a case of "they all do that" ?

Havent noticed any whining noise when reversing. How bad is urs bro? Whats ur mileage?

Mileage is 32K km. The noise is only present if I go at any speed above 5-6kpm, slow reversing there is no noticeable noise. Like I said, the noise is like an electric remote controlled car, there is no vibration and driving forward everything is quiet and shifts correctly.

take a friend's F10 and try to see if you hear an identical sound. To me, never heard such a noise.
