F10 5 series, camo's coming off slowly. Pics from autowereld.com.http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=318995&d=1256557989http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=318994&d=1256557989http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=318998&d=1256557989

Looks pretty nice. I particularly liked the muscular look. Also, seems that there is much improvement in interior space.

Looks like the Bangle butt is gone, with more design features from the current 7 series.

My dad is holding out for this, at my instigation of course. So, I can't wait to see it in the flesh. Any idea when it'll be launched? I had the use of an E60 530i for a week few months back. I tell ya, for a car this size, you have to go with the bigger engines for it to be fun. I can't believe Singapore has 520i with 156 bhp 4-potters... where is the fun in that?!

Why so many exhausts? Can pollute environment better izzit? :stupid:

I beg to differ for what JPB has said. If I just want power, there's so many powerful cars around but what BMW did it right is the balance weight chassis which make it a totally different experience going thru turns and corners... even with a 4-potter.. which fit an average middle income household.. :p

If just for straight line shoot outs, its just pure power-to-weight ratio and for the money you pay for a big engine BMW, the money can be spent on a better power-to-weight ratio car.

From what I read, BMW will release official pictures on the 23 Nov 2009...but I guess some auto spy might leak the photo's earlier on the net.

AB, I would agree with you if we're talking about the 3-series. In fact, that's what I told a fella the other day, that if budget only permits a 320i, go for it cos the "experience" is still light years ahead of his Honda Civic. The power "deficiency" is not even half the story.

The E60 (and ultimately F10) is a different proposition altogether with a much more refined and "hushed" and yet bulkier chassis where if it's underpowered, you just don't enjoy it as much. Case in point is the 523i. Yes, it fulfills many people's aspirations of owning a 5-series and that's great, but in terms of driving experience, something's missing.

My dad currently has an E240. It has a great chassis esp on highways with the occasional sweepers, but I tell ya, the power from the 2.6 ltr V6 just doesn't come urgently enough. So, it's just boooooooring on the straights and powering out of bends...

True also la. My wife tested the 523i and she hated it.. :p 525i boleh tahan.. :D There's little point in getting a E60 520i where most of the time, is a tiring affair of waiting for the speedo to move up.. and before it happens, next traffic light is ahead....

Any idea when this F10 is open for booking? and what engine option its has? I guess a 525d fits the bill nicely.. for my not so urgent driving style..

Ooo.. before that, I had to sack my boss so I can sit his place in order to afford one.. :p

I would say there's still plenty of camouflage on that picture but one thing we can be quite sure is that the car is gonna look gooood...you can already tell..The car seems to look more aggresive even in standard set up.I can only imagine with the right bodykit and wheels. No need to wonder so much la.IF you got the dough, standby coz you're gonna lust over it when it eventually gets here.I'm already envious now.

As for the E60,I think the 525 is gonna be the minimum requirement to truly enjoy it...that's why I ended up with the 530...hehehe...coz I can't afford the roadtax for a M5.

You should the camo' they had before this!

Anyways, interior shots :

white color looks nice and sleek. i heard first batch expected to be out 3rd quarter next year..if i am not wrong, first few batches of e60 launched in 2003 had problems...can't confirm the problems but i hope the same will not recur with f10.

Hmm...IMO,I think both the front and the back seems to have an uncanny resemblance to the new C class Merc with a bit of E90 thrown in(headlights)....nice nevertheless..I'm sure the final results are gonna be much refined.

Finally...real shots of the final product.........guys,how in the world do you make these pictures appear bigger?me not very clever:stupid:
