F1 2005 Bahrain...

What a race with lots of dramas and superb overtaking maneuvers from Pedro De La Rosa.... Best neck to neck racing actions for a single racer for this season so far. Too bad we may not be able see more of him in action when Montoya comes back from this shoulder injury. Seem to me that De La Rosa pushes the car harder than Kimi. or maybe it's just that De La Rosa got more video coverage during the race. Renault and Alonso are really flawless throughout the whole race. Will see what others have to respond to him and his machine.With the changes in regulations, it didn't dampened the actions, at least for this race. And it's good to see someone else dominate the scene. But Ferrari is mounting a comeback soon. The F2005 is fast enuf, they just need to make it last...

Looks to me the Jambatan Batu tyre is still way off. See how Ruben was getting eaten alive near the end of the race......

Just read that Ruben was also suffering from gearbox problem, so we are still not sure how good or bad the Bridgestones are.

JPB, I was on the kart track from 7:30am to 6pm the previous day, hence the tan! But after one beer, the tan will turn to flame.....

Superb race. I'm going to follow F1 a bit more now. Even my aunt was happy to see Schumi retire! Go Webber!

Pedro was able to post faster times as he need not conserve the engine for the next race as reported today.

Todate, this is the most exciting race, of course it was all provided by the mid field drivers like Sato, Pedro, Rubens and Webber. The top 3 drivers were basically having a Sunday drive. Well, if Schumi was able to continue maybe there would have been more drama, who knows? But, the new F2005 isnt that fast, looks like the Renault and Toyota still have the edge.

Now, Imola will look pretty exciting!
