Exhaust problem

Hi all,

I start my car this evening and suddenly I hear quite loud sound and veri irritating from inside of the car.

I go home and I found that my exhaust is in the following... what is the issues? I just installed this 1.5 months ago...

Please advise... thanks...

Clearly its caused by bad workmanship. Probably the shop shld hv used a clamp to join the exhaust instead if spot welding it.

Suggest u sent for a rework by the shop u sent to earlier

Bro, is it normal to have the orange color like the following green circle photos?

The orange circle looks like a makeshift hanger/hook to attach it to the underbody. again, looks like terrible workmanship by the shop. guess they are not familiar with a BMW and do not know the hook points for the exhaust bro.

the first green circle is a good weld, compared to the second circle bro.
