Eenie mini miny moe...

After much surf time, I've narrowed my choice of wheels...

OEM CSL Common to the A08/07 mods, conservative & safe...

BBS CH-R A little bit more adventurous but similar spoke design with the CSL...

BBSCH-R03.jpg

The TE37 SL. Not your everyday wheels that you see on UDMs. Looks the business this one...

Err I vote for..................

CSLLLLLLLLLLLLL :D

P/S: TE37 ain't bad looking either but IMO would look better on a Jap make rather than Jerman. Hehe..

Bro BC, when you bought your plate, did you also bought Mounting Screws Kit (USD5.00) offered by the site?

Depends on what you have currently on your ride's plate... Then again can also get similar at your local DIY shop. But yes, I did get a set each for the rear and the front... :)

Bro, so chosen your rims? Wanna know where to get the OEM CSL too if you gotten yours. :D

No not decided yet... But I'm still negotiating the price from a friend [you know who you are *hint* *hint*]

The TE37 is WAY off my league where price is concerned. Its just prohibitively expansive here in Malaysia and I could not in good conscience justify my purchase for it...

Fogs upgrade

Bought these recently and awaiting delivery... Foggy twisty hill drives should be much much fun now!

Has anyone used these? Reviews please... Will post some photos when fitted.

I would go for the TE37. My personal fave as i have run them on my previous gf ;)
Too bad you will require at least 18 or 19 inch for e46. Else I know where there is a 17 et38 pcd120 second hand.
Bad part its also non-staggered.
A cheaper alternative might be to go for Rota which is the high grade clone of te37 from philipines.
Try contacting Mr Joe-Han from Drift House. He is the Malaysian dealer.

Hei man! Thanks for the comments/reviews :) So, you've used these before then? When you say that it isn't bright enough, care to elaborate further on this please.

Is it the distance of the light's throw that is short? Effective illumination less than 30 meters perhaps? Angle covered from side to side not wide enough? Or high enough or is it just plain not as bright as the PIAAs on WRCs... Sorry for the many stupid questions :)

Afaik, Stamford Tyres are the approved distributors for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia et al. And like I mentioned, they dont come cheap. Most that are available at the chop shops are speced for the JDMs or just plain poor quality reps.

Specs for the TE37 SL for E46 M3:
F 18 X 9.5 | 5 X 120 | +15
R 18 X 10.5 | 5 X 120 | +20

Bro,

It should be

F 18 X 9.5 | 5 X 120 | +22
R 18 X 10.5 | 5 X 120 | +22

Even with +22 front offset you will need to run at least 2.5 degrees of negative camber depending on tire size.

There is a used set for sale on bmw.sg for 2.8k SGD which is suitable for E46 M3 but isnt aggressive enough for me. :(

My bad... After reading through the whole TE specs, yes it should be +22!

Its the -camber thats putting me off somewhat now. Track is a big YES, street...??? A def NO imo! Might look like a wannbe boy racer pulak lar...

What would be 'aggressive' for your ride? Do tell :)

The set for sale in BMW.sg is plug and play (similar to OEM CSL specs):

19x8.5 ET35 Front
19x9.5 ET22 Rear

Ideally I want E92 M3 specs which will require negative camber up front and fenders rolled in the rear:

19x9.5 ET22 Front
19x10.5 ET22 Rear

Top Bottom
