Erratic Engine Oil Indicator?

Hi. My 320i lci was diagnosed to have engine oil leak recently. While awaiting to bring it over to a mech to confirm sometime this week, I noticed the erratic oil indication on the OBC as the pics show..1 taken upon cold start & the other after some hours of driving.

any comment whether is that normal? Thx!

cold start and a hot engine oil levels will surely not be the same.not a defect and is normal.just confirm that when you check the level at the next cold start the oil level is back to full.....or nearly there lah....
