Engine shut down and display cluster also effected

Hi All,Need some advice..Last week, my e34 12v, faced problem with the engine whereby it was shut down during idling... at the same time, my display cluster also affected (mileage readout become blank as well as the message display)... when I disconnect the battery terminal and put it back after 1 hrs, the engine running like normal again and I managed to drive it for maybe 50km... after 1 day, its happen again. This time, if i force to run, the car is jerking...Now I not dare to drive this car. Anyone know what happen? or facing this problem before?Thanks.

check your aternator/battery connector last time my e34 like that .

found the real culprit, cable plug dah reput... broken internally... thx all...
