Anyone encounter this problem on their e60 before?ive read that a lot of e90 owners faced this kinda problem.hmmm...do u guys know how much is the cost ?

depending on what is wrong.....the steering column cud cost u abt 2500.....the CAS module failure abt 1700

just to update. have changed the magnetic key sensor. luckily it was not my steering column.

Encountered the problem last Friday morning. Changed car battery on Saturday. Error message disappeared.
