Using Eibach Pro Kit with std shocks, 18" rims. Loving the ride. Corners like on rails.
Bumpy ah????

Wifey does not complain. You will get used to it.

Just make sure your car is not sitting (riding) on the bump stop when you change the springs. Might have to thin it abit.

dont realli get u

The Eibach springs are about 40mm lower than your standard springs. Thus the shocks have less travel.

When you corner hard, the spring compresses and some times hits the bump stop. By thinning the bump stop, the shocks have move travel. Hitting the bump stop gives you a very harsh ride.

Your installer will advice you on this.

..and stay away from Sachs Performance.they are dreadful..had them on my e36 m3 last time and i hated it!!
wat's wrong with the sachs??cause i'm using it now.so far so good.
tell me the problem about it so that i can prevent...thanks bro.. :)

Eibach prokit is comfy.... The Prokit springs gives 35mm drop all round if I remember rite. M-Techik is 25mm front and 15mm rear. Very practical lowering and I have yet to face bottoming out issues or hitting the bump stop on the M-techs. Only downsides for the M-Techs is the longevity of the shocks... They are getting a little soft already for me (4+ yrs tho) and I hear that its quite typical for the bimmer.

Not sure how long the Eibach shocks last. But most folks fit the eibach springs against stock shockers, which is still comfy, but the stock shockers KO even faster!

I recently changed my original SACHS AB shocks on the car after 5 years and 100,000 kms. Must admit last 5000 kms it wasnt working well and lotsa floating sampai my wife boleh comment....

Changed to Bilstein Heavy Duty-Blacks. No complaints.

how much u paid for bilstein?? heard it is really good shockie

dude, i seen some ppl only using lowering spring at the front and maintain standard spring at the rear. Is that advisable?
How about the performance ? did it affect the aerodynamic?
