My last fuel up, I've been sticking to Eco Pro driving mode. For full tank of 53.95 litres at RM1.80 a litre, I managed to run it for 950km with approximately 20km to spare; all in full town driving + NKVE. Now who needs a hybrid car?

Excellent.whats the average speed?

Approximately 50km/h. The 8 speed gearbox does make a lot of difference compare to previous 320d. Plus F30 fuel tank is smaller than E90.

Avg speed of 50 km/h is more like highway driving la. When it drops to say 20-30 then it's PJ/KL city driving. Still respectable figures no doubt.

At the end of each day with traffic jam, start /stop, NKVE etc; it does come to around 50-60 km/h average. 320d E90 already have excellent FC. F30 FC will put a bigger smile to cheapskates like me who count every drop of litre.

I tested the ECOPRO mode during test drive.. seriously, I would kill myself to see such retard throttle responses from a BMW... yet, there are fans for it.. I am speechless..:shot:

I have been using Eco-pro for the highway part of my daily commute. Found it to be OK since there is very little oppurtunity to floor it during peak hours anyway. The car drives in a very relaxed manner. I go to sport mode when traffic allows. I would say I am 80% eco-pro, 10% comfort, 10% sport mode. My OBD reads Avg speed is 36kmh and fuel consumption is 9.8l/100km. And this is without really trying to save fuel just following the flow and speed of traffic around me.

The FC corresponds to my manual calculations.

So I am giving the thumbs up to eco pro and the N20 engine.

Well, the instrument will also indicate how much mileage is saved via Eco Pro.

I'm now getting 10.0l/100km @ 36km/h, comfort mode most of the time, occassionally on sport mode, never on eco-pro.

I've managed 12.0L/100KM @ 35 km/h, a mixture of comfort, sports, and eco-pro. Mix of highway and city driving, with occasional heavy footing. I think there's room for better fuel consumption, but I doubt I'll ever get the 900+KM per fill up the TS is receiving. That's just diesel love.

Used for extra urban trip. Seems aircond blower become slower and temperature was increasing due to ECO-PRO. Quite impressed with the FC.

If you do want the air conditioning to become slower when using eco-pro (like me), you can disable this setting in the iDrive Eco-Pro profile.
