i don't think anyone does bimmers in east malaysia yet as the brand is still quite new relatively over there..i do go to Kuching and K Kinabalu regularly but seldom see 'done up' bimmers there.
seen one or two in front of Upperstar opposite Hyatt Kinabalu but that was it..
so if u want those stuffs u'll have to come over to KL or Sin to get them..
Sad to say that supergripen is right. Wanna own BMW in Sarawak is no prob but maintaining and doing it right(racuning, keke),manyak susah lar. But if you are from Kch,do try a shop along Sekama. They do sell Merc and BMW parts, although the list of items available leaves much to be desired.
if you are from kk go to rights parts. they have been in BMW parts business for 20 years.
pricing are competitive. look for chung or peter very helpful and professional.
Yeah, thats the problem. Im actually in Miri... :dunno: its kinda difficult to source for the parts here. There are 2 shops which "reputedly" could fix and service BMWs, however after a bad experience my friend had, im not going to risk it. 200km/h on their highways...
As for the parts, im a regular traveller to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and KL.
(flight of course, not driving...intercity roads here are not that good) Just point me in the right directions and i will be there!
Hope you guys could give me the shop names, address or general locations and rest i will try to get from 103 (telekom yellow pages!)
(in KK, KCH or KL)
Yeah man. That's what I will do too if I were you. Service the car at Brunei. Even kch also dun hav any specialist that just services Beemers ler except for AB. That is another matter lar. I left the shop's namecard in kch but you should not have any problems finding it lar. Its opposite fujisan bakery. Hope it helps.

BMW Brunei wants to service Malaysia registered BMWs? That's good. AB Kuching agreed to offer to fly technician from Kuching to service in Miri (using Ford facility) during the 2-year free maintenance period. After that, I have to pay for his airfare.
If BMW Brunei agrees to service Malaysia registered BMWs. That's great news to me!
