Early 70s BMWs

Hi All,
I am Dave, living in Penang last 13 years, I have a bunch of old cars including 2 BMW 2002tii of the 'round rear light' variety.

One is black in colour, with original Alpina options: air dam, half bumpers, steel wheels, CR 5speed, LSD and electric sunroof. The car is in reasonable condition, I use it as my daily driver. The mechanical fuel injection is very reliable and the car quite agile.

The other car is Orange and in the middle of a full rebuild, it has exterior trim, brakelines and engine in place, still got to add drive shafts, calipers interior, glass etc etc....will take me a few yrs.

Give a wave if you see me on the road!

The tii has always been one of my modern classic BMW favourite. It warms the heart knowing a few of these are within our shores and taken good care of.

Some updates on the orange car, a 1972 2002Tii chassis 2751208: Now the drivetrain & exhaust is in, the doors built-up, fuel system fitted and wiring loom installed.

On monday the car fired-up for the first time in 28 years...this car was last on the road in 1988...after that it lay outside for 10 years before I bought it in 1998...since then it's been stored dismantled until 2007 when I started to rebuild it.

These BMW M10 engines are bomb-proof, so I didnt rebuild the engine, I just serviced injectors & ignition and had the Kugelfischer pump rebuilt (Bosch singapore do a good job).... it started up just fine & runs smooth..no idea how many miles on it...but they do go on for ages
