Hi All, this is Vroom325. Just got myself a e46 325 from AB Glenmarie about 1 month back.Super good condition both interior & exterior. Extremely low mileage & tip top working condition. Very happy with the car & enjoying every moment with it.:love:Have been travelling this week & I am already missing my car... Can't wait till Friday.I have been driving a very good FWD handling car & decided to try the best RWD, so obviously a beemer!:top:I love the agility of the car. When I am done dealing with the corner, the nose of the car is always pointing straight to the exit w/o much pressure & you can just step on your gas to leave the crowd at the back! Fantastic! Then the 6 cylinder engine & muffler note is cool, needless to say about the refinment of the car. However, found the stock suspension is a bit soft... But I think I will leave it for a longer period of time, as it's very comfortable vs my previous ride, and the cornering is not too bad. Let's see if I can live with it. May also wanna think of a CF air intake mod from Japan. Have been recommended by friends.Well, still have a lot of knowledge to be learned from you guys!

Guys, thanks for the warm welcome! Would love to join TT session with you guys soon.

I bought it with 133k. Comes with 1yr warranty except wear & tear. W/O touch up at AB, the car still looks like new. Just only about 2 stone chip on bonnet, 1 on right fender, 1 on front left of the bumper. Totally acceptable. They just changed the front brake pad, rotor, v-belt pulley, service, 1 set of new CSC3, then I asked for front tinted film FOC.(JPJ tear off the v-kool!!!) Though about 5-8k more expensive then outside, I think worth the money with the assurance I'll be getting from them, at least for the 1st yr.

So before my warranty expires, I have to bring back to them for service.(I intend to change engine oil every 10kkm)
Mileage is about 37kkm now. Plan for a gear box oil change at 50kkm.

Thanks!

E46 2004 325i. Exclusive model...........................:top:

welcome bro.......................

Hi Guys, thanks so much! Feel the warmth from everyone of you & also feel the warmth of the engine today when I drive my car after 4days away from the country!

When I was away, I sent my car to AB Glenmarie for some claim, since I hear squeeking sound when engine is idling(very mild, but I am a bit fussy guy) After checked it was the pulley. So they replaced the whole set with belt & others, total bill of 1.8k but it was taken care by them since it's under warranty.

They also fixed my other claims after 1mth driving it. Ex. A pillar cover is lose, allignment is out since day 1, brake oil is due when I take over the car, bla bla bla... All kautim1:top:

So excited to drive again after 4 days. Can't let my gf know about it(actually I miss the car so much these few days) :listen: or else I will be in big trouble. haha.

Have a nice weekend! I m gonna enjoy my car!

Welcome Vroom. Reading your posts is really "racun". I am trying to hold back the urge to upgrade to a E46 325i. I am also thinking of a 2004 model. You are right when you say that there arent many good ones left.

Pls do keep sharing your experiences and I hope you get much pleasure from your ride.

Anxious. If you can afford it, buy all means, go for it man, not purposely to racun you lah:wink:
When a man think of holding urge to upgrade, u r gone. Trust me. It's a ma~tter of time!
Or may be i am not that strong in my mental strength...

I also struggled for some time then dediced to make my move, but u won't regret it. It's powerful, refined engine & gear box, RWD agility, handling, fun!!!:top:

Just went back to Batu Gajah(Gopeng exit in the weekend) in the weekend. I used to take 2h15min door to door from Shah Alam, now it's1h55min, with no intention to speed. Just drive at a comfortable speed for our beemer. So easy & stressless. I now love to step on the gas more when going into corner & long bending stretch on hiway...:stupid:

When at 140km, it's abut 3000rpm, not even the peak of the torque. 140km/h is only a starter for 325, maincourse is still in the kitchen. Switch to S & step on the gas, u will yell out, WooHoo!!!:stupid: The engine note changes when appraoching 4500rpm to roaring, start flexing it's muscle.

Quickly go spread the news & look for one if you really want an e46 lah. Not easy to find good & low mileage now. Or wait for another 1 more year, u can get an E90 325, oribably at 150-160k, but definitely not at 130k level coz still current model.

E90 is lighter, torque comes in earlier, 6th gear. However, I still prefer the sound & feel when closing my e46 doo, E90 is not that sweet, too light & can sort of hear the metal slamming sound. No offence, personal preference only. Also because I can't afford E90 now.

Vroom. I was hoping to invest my spare money and make a little profit in a couple of years and then upgrade but when I got back from my holidays everything just picked up and now I guess I've missed the boat unless the market seriously corrects itself. Anyways I'll see if I can tahan another 2 years. My E36 325i has been all done up so I guess I'll just enjoy it for now.

Any upgrades to ur ride recently. Cheers.
