anyone have any experience using eagle F1 245/40/17, 225/45/17..price around rm550/rm400 respectively..

Where did you get this price? I'm currently using these tires on my civic & they have been so damn good. Tons of grip, low on noise & you can run over 100 kmh in heavy downpour without breaking a sweat. Not to mention they look out of this world.
I'm planning to get these for my Bimmer soon to replace the noisy original Conti.

At these sizes they're probably imported direct from Germany. That explains the high prices. The 16's & 15's are made in Thailand.

does F1 have the size of 225/55/16?? if got i also wan. i onli prefer from german, italy or finland. don wan msia o thai make. it sux n rough

price for goodyear staff... my worries is that , the tyre is made in China..

We all buy Sony Ericsson & Nokia hp's made in China what. So what's wrong with Goodyear tyres made there. They are still subject to the same strict QC as anywhere else in the world.
(((((( Can I tompang order from you ah? )))))))

U would notice the difference when you use it at the limit... normal, sedate driving not much difference...

140km/h with 235/45 17 eagle f1 'throwing' one 80 degree corner without sound!

Anyone here used 205/55 R16 GSD3 before?

Any comments? I might be considering this.

how much is 205/55 R16 GSD3 by the way?

I have been using this exact combo for the last 3 years. Cost me 2.2k plus balancing and alignment. Rear is German, front is Thai ( no stock of German at the time...)
LOVE IT....
No complaints. Grip is good especially in the wet. Noise is not the best, but tolerable.. (put music louder, or drive faster so engine will drown out the sound) heheheh

But wait for the F1 asymmetric
EVEN better it seems

totally agree with you bro.. fixed the tyres yesterday ;front (thai); rear (china) ..had a silky ride..plus the tyre shop accepted my old tyre for 200.

i use this tyre last time.grip is excellent but the tyre wear is fast.
now using toyo proxes 205/55ZR16 91W.excellent grip also but less tyre wear.

I have been using the F1 in 225/50ZR16 size for about 3 years now in my 2001 E46 325i.

No complaints. Good grip, great aquaplaning resistance and surprisingly quiet.
