Definitely not my friend, something is not right. It could be a host of things so do get them to check thoroughly. If you're car is still under warranty make sure they fix it at all cost.If it's not under warranty you have all the reasons to be concerned with cost. These freakin' cars can cost you an arm and a leg. That's why I'm seriously considering the VW Golf GTI(but that's a whole different story now).AB is not known for being terribly competent when it comes to diagnosing problems. If it's not under warranty, look elsewhere and if and when you find a good shop,do let us know.

Alignment problem sir. Go to a good tyre shop and have them look at it. AB do not specialised in tyre works ....:listen: even simple repair work also not good

A vehicle especially a conti one supposse to be a safe one for us...not pulling up and down....one more thing is a machine is a machine...and we gotta maintain a machine...without a proper maintenance any machines will tend to fail..i bet its the 1st time ur E60 had failed and thats why ur posting this question...take care of ur machine and it will take care of you...:top:

Dear Guna,
Thanks for your feedback. My car is still there, and I have no warranty!
If by chance you have the contact number of BMW Germany.

Thanks.

hey bro, sorry to hear about your problem...if AB seems to be going nowhere check out the alignment workshop thread, lots of reputable joints there

when you change the lower arm both the alignment and camber will go off...

go to a competent tyre shop to do both alignment and camber setting.

most likely, after both are done correctly your car wouldnt pull, it will go straight for sure... pulling especially a lot is serious as normally even when both alignment and camber are off a bit the car wouldnt pull so fast i.e. within 2 lamp post...

another thing is that (i am not sure about the actual situation) it could be psychological. our roads are not exactly flat...they are meant to have a bit of gradiant to assist water flow in the event of rain...so what i am trying to say is that for sure there is a bit of sort of 'pull' feeling even though the road is straight.

By right AB should provide diagnose for steering alignment, especially calibration of active steering.

My active steering got problem, regardless when i drive under 80km/h, it's straight, once goes up to 120km/h and above, it pulls left.

My worry is Active Steering issue IF alignment and the rest is good. Just my thought, get professional check ya?

it is definitely camber setting..there is one good shop in Seremban. The owner is called Ah Ching, he is very good in adjusting camber and alignment ..

okay chief here's the thing, u dun have to go too far, try AB glenmarie, coz last time i remember a friend of mine's mini cooper had problem tried to fix at many place and it seems like didnt improve even a tiny bit, finally it was fixed by those guys at Glenmarie.

The last try probably u can do is head to Seong Hoe Melaka and look for the guy called Vasu @ DR. BM, most of unsolved case goes here and comes out with a solution.

All the best to u chief, hope ur case can be solved :)

Guys,
I send my car for alignment at one of the BMW authorized service center. The car still pulling left but I didn't feel any vibration even if *I drive more than 240km/h. The SA advise me to change the steering shaft due to some play and some rubbing sound when I turn to right. They also *suspect that the pulling was caused by the steering shaft. Any alternative solution or any advise *before I proceed with the replacement that will cause me RM2K++.*
