I would like to join this but I live in KL. Do I have to go up north to Sg Siput and then drive south again to Cameron Highlands? Perhaps a rendezvous at Simpang Pulai or Tapah would be a better idea.

yeap totally agree with rahmath...

it makes no sense for us in central or south to drive all the way up to ipoh (sg. siput) to meet up then only to drive south again to cameron highlands...

tapah would be a better choice instead...
