Hi all SifusI'm new to the clubI'm from Seri Kembangan and got to know about this club from a friend who is a HUGE fan of UDM. Will be getting a e46 (CBU) sometime in April. Need a lot of advises on using and maintenaning the car. Hope all the Sifus out there can help me when I needed. Thanks in advance. My very first question to all the Sifus is:Is there any good BMW mechanics nearby Seri Kembangan/Serdang areas? I guessed I need to service the car when I get it by April. I come across the following thread but couldn't find one that is nearby except the one in Kajang. http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440Any Sifu can help me? TQ.:top:

Thanks bro :top: .
The address, contact no. or some direction would be very much appreciated. BTW, I heard that the accessories shops next to the Sunway Piramid is the place to go for pimping up the UDM. is that true?

ps: the current onwer always service his UDM at M1 Kayu Ara (based on the service history log) which is a bit way too far for me to get there (plus, I do not know how to get there. hehe...)

macam gua kena leh............................

What I meant is to restore or add some accessories to it such as the central armrest which is only an optional for the CBU unit. Unfortunately, the e46 that I'm going to get doesn't equip with the armrest. I also would like to change the headlight and tail light as there turned yellowish already. :20:

Dear Sifus out there,
I'm still hoping that some of you can help me with the addresses of the neraby workshops from Seri Kembangan to service my future e46. Currently, I only have the BMWorld in Bandar Tasik Selantan (but without the address) and MSpeed USJ (which I found when google it). :29: Some help would be very much appreciated as I will be getting my car in April. Thanks a million.

Hi azam318, do you mind tell me where do u service ur car? Do u guys hv TT nearby SK?

To all sifu,
As in my previous posts, I was hoping some one could help me with some good workshops to service my car.... but.... :106:
Recently, I found a list of workshops that most of the sifus will go to from one of the thread...

http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440&page=25

Unfortunately, there is no address provided. :37: With the address, at least I can use the google map to locate the exact places. Being a Johorian who is living in KL without knowing where to go, an address can really help a LOT. :shakehands:

Can sifu (or admins) pls compile the addresses of the workshops that u all normally go to? This will surely help a lot to the newbies like me...

Let me start the ball rolling....
[1] MSpeed Auto Service: No.29 Jalan TS 6/1, Taman Industri Subang, Subang Jaya 47510 (Tel: 03-56311911)

cheers...

welcome to the forum...

join us as an Official Member....

you can use the PM function if you want further info from anyone here....

Yes! be an official member. Lunch on me for the one who becomes official member first....!!

Something keeps wandering in my mind.... Instead of trying to be helpful but the replies here are just asking me to join as an offical member... It there any implicit meaning behind these? Do I need to first became an official member then only I'll will get the help I needed? If that so, I'm will be very dissapointed. I always thought that a forum should be a place for asking and discussing questions rather than selling membership (part of the reason why I hated the insurance agent so much). Just my 2 sent and sorry if I upset anyone here.

ps: If there is no answer/respond to my request in post #12, then I don't see a point of keeping this thread anymore. Just close it then, please, OFFICIAL MEMBER.

No problem sir... everyone is always welcomed here. This the noob section and as the title says it..it is what it is... workshop thread is in other sections... please start a thread there or do a search please. Your patronage is indeed valued & Your misundertood understanding is now understood that now i understand what u understood. So please don't let our intentions be misunderstood.. :hmmmm:

no one here gets a commission by asking you to join as an official member , so wander your mind no more.

If you feel that the club forumers and members are not being helpful, there is already an existing thread entitled " List of Good Workshops" started way way back in 2004 with 300 + postings. Here, you will find names and operators of the workshops. Some will have websites and even handphone contacts of the Chief Mechanic. Surely, there is a workshop somewhere in the list near your place or stay/work.

By the way, you did not share where you live or where you work or which area is most convenient to you but to start a new list maybe you can try the Yellow Pages. They already have a list there complete with address/tel/etc/etc. You can try to match the names in the "List of Good Workshops" with details in the Yellow Pages. Hope this is helpful enough.

I hate insurance people too. Cheers!

First of all, thanks for your info. I found the following thread long tima ago but the info given does not include address for most of the workshop. Still searching...

It's a good idea to start looking for yellow pages, but I need to get one first... :top:

ps: I think I did mentioned a couple of times in this thread that am from Seri Kembangan Selangor. Am are excited and yet worried. Excited that am will be getting my very first UDM soon. Worried that am might not be able to find a good workshop to take cars of my soon to be baby.
