E46 M3 Cabin Mirror

Currently the present cabin mirror for my E46 M3 coupe is all blurry and you can hardly see anything from it. This mirror is the one attached on the windscreen, not the vanity sunshade mirror. Here is the question, would a 2nd hand mirror from a E46 3 series fit it or from a coupe? Or is the mirror specific meaning only way to replace it is from another M3? Secondly where can I buy a 2nd hand one? Called Autobav and they quoted quite a large amount for it. Thanks!

Just found out it is a common problem for M3 after reading the thread

I would guess replacing it will still occur again. and since this mirror is M3 specific, if looking for a recond replacement, I would need to source one off another M3.

bro u r using E46 M3 rite?just wan to know if M3 front absorber mounting same with normal E46.
