E46 Jap Spec Vs. Local Spec -Better??

HI to all the Beemerriders !New here, still shopping for my 1st UDM E46(318/ 325).Want to get some pointers from fellow sifu:1) Would a recon Jap spec better than a local AB's?2) Obvius differences from local is the yellow side lamp?3) Recon Jap's reliable??Cheers!!! Bcraze
