E46 2002 - Repair bent rims

Dear Bros,2 of my rims bengkok (front and spare) and had it repaired today at RM35 a piece (different size rims different price).No need to wait, called the shop and they say can come in any time and it took literally about 30 minutes a rim.Quite good job.Anyway, just to share details of the shop (don't mean to advertise in any way):Tek Ming Auto03-5621 111103-5633 6928www.tekming.lelong.com.my

Repair rim is cheap, but if u talk about repair + repaint then different story.

Well, it is difficult to put it in word, anyway to cut the long story short..even the gap as it is 2 piece are covered with paint too.
Would like to be recommended a shop where they will dismantle to 2 pieces to do the job rightly...

wtf i got ripped off big time. got charged 150 for fixing a bent rim. no cracks at all. autobac = rip off

Falken Jelapang, Ipoh and Ipoh did my 18 " for RM80 on the spot for about and hour job. They use torch and machine.
Thanx to our 'superb' road especially infront of KLCC and jln sultan ismail.

I would like to ask..

Four of my BBS RX rims are not round anymore.. can the rim repair fix this type of problem ?

I put the two "most" rounded at the front... still vibrates at around 110kph ...

Is it better to change the rims or have it repaired ??

Actually how do they repair the rims eh ? Make it round back or something ??

What if after the rim repair it is still not "round"..

Machine is used to pump, fire is used to soften (only if badly out of shape) and hammer is used to knock the rims back into shape. Repaired rims wont be 100% as good as new but it's definitely better than the current state.

My car was swaying a bit and found out another rim bengkok also. Got it repaired and did alignment and now back to normal bro.
