My Topaz Blue E39 need new paint. Should I stick to original colour or different colour? If different what should be a recomended colour?

I guess I will stick to my Topaz Blue. It will cost a lot more to change to different colour. After all our other fleet are Monaco Blue and Mugello Blue.

Try to stick to original. Because in order to do a proper color change, they need to scrub every inch of your old paint off your body and who knows if they may scrub too much and take off more than just paint.
Furthermore, if you want to sell the car, second-hand buyers have keen eyes to look for paint tone discrepancy between the outer body and the inner panels inside the car which would give them suspicions that your car have been in an accident before.

Hi Zidee..since you are on the paint subject, may I ask you where did you get your paint job done? I thinking of re-spraying my whole car too but Ingress just quoted me RM6000 for the job. That's quite costly.

My Bro Zidee,

Wah all your car blue color meh. Why not change color to pimp the car. Maybe Chilli Red or Dakar Yellow. Kasi muda sket itu umor hehe

However every individual has his own choice of colors, but if it has been asked then I will rather suggest for carbon gray, alpine white or black for the cars, as these colors may be common but are simple and sober and looks good on vehicles.

At Glenmarie. I'm quite happy he did for my son's A4 for about rm4k. Transform from Amber to Mugello Blue

Carbon grey will be interesting. is it something like Paul Tan's E39?

Aku ingat hang nak suruh cat oren terus....he he. Anyway i may be conservative. Play safe.

Now surveying bodykit before I send it to workshop for pain job.

To be honest I haven't seen his car but if you are interested then I would like to tell you that its the very rare color among the cars, because people mostly make use of common colors like white, black, red, green etc. No doubt, indeed these colors look good, but the person should have something different than others.
