E39 parts needed, any ideas? See pics.

Hi all, my dad's E39 needs some replacement parts, not sure what they're called, but was hoping anyone would have any or a source for getting them in good condition second hand?First up is this plastic thing under the bonnet which is broken now:

Next is this door sill lining where the rubber has peeled off from the plastic body.

Would appreciate if anyone had any info for this! Cheers!

U can source both at Autobavaria SS2, ask for Fuad.
For the 1st picture, what year is your father E39, I believe pre 1999 (M52 model the clip to secure that plastic to the body is different from the post 99 (M54 model). Autobavaria will not have prior model. U can source it at any kedai potong, Hakitrade will be your best bet.

Hi yoke, when you say Autobavaria SS2, are you referring to the Bavarian Auto along the same row as Crimpers and ComputerWar? But that will be new parts correct?
Yeah my dad's E39 is a 1997 model.
Where is this Hakitrade by the way? Thanks!

Opss sorry you'r right BavarianAuto (tebalik la:burnout: ). For a 1997 model, you can still use the post model plastic but there are certain clip that you can't put on. Dont know how my mechanic did it, but it seems orite on my car.
Hakitrade is at Subang after the Subang airport and Airod. Just follow the road until the end (at traffic light dont take left into Kampung Melayu Subang instead go straight. Hakitrade i around 200 metres from the traffic light on your right)

The 1st part named windshield frame cover part no: 51718159292, AB quote RM250.64, S'pore quote SGD92.

The second part is ok mah..no need to change lar..

Haha, yeah admittedly, that door sill is a very minor issue, but hey, it's good to always keep the car in good condition before all these minor issues collect into a major molehill. :lol:
