E39 - Aircon wheezing sound

i am done with all so called specialist.. ! tipu punya most of them. dont even explain to me what the difference between R122 or r134. do not even know what is "vacuum gas filling"..

now.. i just go to any mechanic or aircon shop and tell them step by step what to do.. and don give me shit

Well may be not for ppls with some knowledge its good...
But may be not for dissent ppls right...
Not all owner of any car makes got knowledge in automotive right...
So they need to send for rectification and just listen to the mech suggestion right....

Yeah I'm glad the problem has finally gone away as I have been to many so-called specialist and none of them has this cleaning machine. Hi Volvos525i, mine started out very mild then it just got worse...if you're doing it then its a preventive step you're taking to avoid a costly replacement. Yes the sound is coming from the air vent or very nearby but definitely not from the stereo. Base on club rules, I cannot disclose operator's identity here but the shop is located within Subang/Sunway. Shop only has one machine and process is time consuming so best you call make appointment and also ask for DISCOUNT! (just say you're with the club) - call 019 3389931. Good luck bros, I hope this

BimmerDan, thank you for your suggestion. I found the shop and did it this morning.. So far a/c noises gone and now i can hear my engine better than before. Coz last time all i hear was wheezing sound.. The funny smell from a/c vent no longer there.. Still monitoring the progress of today's ac service but all in all i was satisfied with their service.. It took them 1 hour 15 mins for the service.. Money well worth spent..

Hi Amoisky, I'm glad the cleaning worked for you as it has for me. Its been almost a month and the irritating wheezing noise hasn't returned and I agree with you that the overall efficiency of the AC has also improved.

What kind of wheezing sound? Like not enough gas kind of sound (bunyi kosong) coming from glove box area? have same problem. Check my compressor and was told it is superb. Added gas sound till there
