E36 Ignition Keys

Hi fellow Beemers, I'm driving an E36 1996 model. Last year I changed the ignition key at a local workshop. It cost me abt RM1k for a used unit and it come only with 1 key only! Now that key is also giving me problem. Anyone have experienced the same problem? Is a new one available and if yes where can I get it? How much does it cost? Thank you

what do yu mean the key gives you problem? what is the problem?

Last year, the key ignition key become loose i.e, when it is turn there's no grip to start the engine. The workshop tried to find suitable used sets and after abt two week, found one that suit to my car. However the set came with only a single key.

The recent problem is that they key is stucked to the lock. I'can get it off although there's no problem to start the engine. What I do is to just leave the key there after driving and lock my car using the central locking system.
