I have a set of M52B28 headers with me...too bad I'm gonna custom fit the headers to my car la. anyway, I've used the Hot Bit Headers for M20 before. Very good mid range power. Now the headers is in a monster car down in the Island Nation.

(denser air intake) and do we need to thermal wrap the header?

The more engine mods the more effect generally. engine bay temperature will be higher because stainless steel will not contain the heat as well as cast iron manifold thermal wrap is detrimental to header lifespan and looks ugly. if you want to insulate the headers then better do ceramic coating.
