After oil change, you must reset the interval light with a modic or a jumper wire.

Where did you service?. Normally they do the reset after oil change unless they don't know what to do. Have it reset .

hmmmmm... i don think they know... hai~~ so can we reset manually??
just jumper terminal pin 7 to the ground or body for about 10 to 12 seconds.

pict as shown below.

For more info do a google for "reset service light bmw"

btw first time service your car...

Hi Bro...Which workshop did you send for oil service? If they don't know how to reset ur service indicator...better run away from that workshop bro( run as hard as u can bro :D ). That was basic thingy to be done after doing oil service, pls doing a search for the workshop thread where plenty of the workshop was recommended by the forumers. Cheers

Two 4-litre packs of Mobil 1 supersyn 5w-50 cost arounf RM300.

where's the cheapest place in PJ to get them? around sea park?

have been using that grade for some time cuzz that's what M Speed Kenny offered. Is this ideal grade for an E36 1994 325 engine that's still in pretty good shape, done 106K km, and has slight engine oil leak (from sump and other places)

GP...

If u need any help on this .. call me .. U have my number ???

Can try PH Auto in SS2/21 (I think).... the last time a few months back, I got mine at RM135 per 4L pack.

Well, if you engine is not burning the oil away, I guess it should be ok. Mobil 1 is notorious for being burnt away rapidly. No problem when I used it in my ex-E36, no oil loss but then again, that engine was overhauled already.
