E36 325i Manual rear axle diff

Bro's sifus's..Im currently on 325 manual with the axle being changed when i get the car few months back,i'm facing a very high RPM with even normal drive,ex(140kmh rpm @4k-4.5k)(170-180kmh is about 6k)and my FCis ery high and im sure due to that..The problem is i need some feedback from sifu's here..as i went to check my current size of my axle but i couldnt see,because the reading somehow is very blurr..but according to the mechanic is high,estimate more than 3.8 for sure..he's asking me to get below 3.3 since mine is manual..as i know 3.15 is the best?correct me if im wrong..but is hard to get and the $$ is soo much..so my question is..1)should i go back to standard 325 manual ratio?which is?help pls..i could not find..2)328 manual which is 3.23 i guess..3)328 auto if not mistaken 3.46..or others that you guyz can advise me..

Go for 3.15 or 3.23 if you can find it. 3.15 easier to find though.

but im getting ridiculous asking price for 3.15..some are quoting me about 2k..cheapest 1.5k..

Try and find it yourself from chop shops. If you had asked this a month or so ago I would still have my old 3.15 axle. Sold it for Rm500.

It'll definitely be cheaper if you try and source it yourself.

3.15 got LSD (from M3)and non LSD (from 325 manual)spec.....
3.23 is LSD which can be found at M3 evo...

i have the 3.15 gearing if you're interested. about RM700-800, have to check. I also have Torsen LSD, it came with the newer BMWs, replacing the clutch type. Doesn't wear out, and locks when detects slip.
