E36 318i abs pump motor

guys need some helps with all sifu around here. For the past few months my meter keep showing up the brake pad error and also the abs light is up. After further diagnose found out the issue might be the abs pump motor - now problem is BA don't have this stock at all - try search some half cut shop all selling the old model type which comes with 2 hoses for vacumm... mine is the last batch e36 318i M43 - should be the ATE hydraulic unit (square type). Appreciate if anyone knows the part number or place to get this. I try search on realoem and also some google but scared if the parts wrong type.

If u already change the brake pad, but the indicator still on, that means u need to change the brake sensor as well. As of the ABS pump motor, if u really need the ABS while driving, only then i recommend u to change the motor because it's really expensive...one from chop shop cost RM1k already...

thanks guys... brake pad are still new - 80% - brake sensor and wheel speed sensor are working fine. Just that now days i have to visit my mech every 3 weeks to erase the error code on ABS pump motor... well i've driven a car without abs before but now days better to have abs cause all road users tend to sudden brake too often and sometimes turn left and right without see other cars.

Just replaced mine bought from MK Kepong. try ring them up and give them the part no (if you have not called already)

Bro Cyne yours is 328i not a problem getting the ABS. But this one is for 318i last batch & different from all other E36 models. Memang very very difficult to find.
