While topping up on air, I noticed the petrol station's mechanic actually has a bunch of vehicle test equipment. One of them being exhaust measurement device (proper name?). So I got the following reading:CO (I think that's carbon monoxide) = 0.00 (too good to be true?!)CO2 = 15.6 (vs normally 14.6 according to the guy operating the machine)HC (I think that's hydrocarbon??) = 79 (means what??)NOx = 0.997 (means what??)So, I have yet to make sense out of the raw numbers above. Has anyone done smog test before, or know how to make sense out of the 4 numbers combined?My regular BMW specialist place said their machine was broken... but I have never seen such machine before. While this no name repair shop has smog test machine, fuel injector cleaner machine, a giant don't know do what machine (has voltage meters), ATF flush machine, N2 air compressor, ...
