Dear friends,I wish to enquire on options available for low and high beam lamp for E34. I currently have the Hella Smiley low beam lamps and the yellow headlamp. Both of these have faulty reflectors/stained glass and thus the beam is not as good as it should be. I would like to enquire on what options I have in order to have lamps with good reflectors and clear glass. I understand there are some Taiwanese aftermarket lamps? What is the pricing for a set? Are they any good? Any other viable options???All comments welcomed and as always, grateful :top:

Stick to the OEM and its a no go for the taiwan made as it doesnt last long. Suggest to replace yours with a a good used set and get a good bulb to go with it. Or alternatively, if you are a diy'er just dismantle and clean yours.

You are right bro, but the reflective coating can also be recondition. It can be recoated with chrome plating on plastic as well. You as a DIY'er should know .

Hey bro,

I would think getting the reflectors changed might solve the problem.

I previously written a thread on this.

So far the car's like a dream to drive especially at night, as the beams are much brighter now. :top:
