Anyway to cure?Got a big problem with my air-cond, any doctor for it?? Have recently spent around 1K for that, but the pronblem still arise. :cry:

1. Yes.
2. Yes. Since my car is dark colour too. In fact, it is too hot, my aircon can just about cope up with the heat.
3. Was until I changed my aircon compressor.

I am no expert on aircons, but just to share some experiences.
1) The air cond blower sound very loud when you turn to 3rd or 4th speed.
Is the sound loud but small volume of air coming out of the vents?? This could be due to yr blower unit is dirty, get an aircon guy to clean/service the blower unit. Many drivers dont service the blower unit regularly.
2) It take long to get cold air (under the hot sun)
Due to our outstanding outdoors temperatures coupled with the fantastic temperatures within our car under the sun, our UDM needs more time to suck in cold air. Will help if u drive the car faster to assist in the intake of fresh cooler air.
3) When the car is at still, air cond is not cold
Same as 2, when yr car is at standstill, no fresh air is taken into the air-con system, so no cold air. One other thing to check while yr blower is being cleaned, ask the guy to check on yr fresh air intake flap. Normally, this flap is stuck in the open position (despite the dashboard says its closed). Get the air-con guy to close and seal the flap, eliminating heated engine air being sucked into the air-son unit, keeping the air much cooler faster.

Get the air-con guy to look at this while he is cleaning yr blower units.
Hope this helps, but then again, its no expert advice. Just ask for yr air-con guy to check all of the above. Most of the time, its the fresh air intake flap being stuck in the open positions that makes the air-con unit seem not working. Correct it, and it may even be better on yr air-con unit.
