E34 525i 12V - Auto Gear box Valve Body

Any of you sifus know where to get the Valve Body for my gearbox ? My foreman says that my valve body needs to be changed as the gear changes are not smooth and when the engine is cold, it takes a long time to change from 1st geat to 2nd gear. Once it changes, it's ok but just does not feel right.I did an overhaul of my gearbox somewhere in Feb this year but valve body was not changed.Pls help
