E32 730iL rear hydraulic suspension leaking

dear members n forumners, ........need your advice n guidence.lately detected my rear hydraulic suspension leaking. my mech qouted 5k + to replace/rectify the whole system. some one told me it can be converted to conventional set up like E32 730i.if its true what is cost like.............parts that need to be changed ? ......and where it can be done.....thanks.

good question, mine also gone on 740il, will be changing soon. But not before engine conversion. Eager to hear what others have to say about this.

So far, my mechanic said, that i will need to purchase casing from wreckers and put in new shocks into them. That should be all you need to do.

dunno how true is this, coz not yet done.

Don't change them to normal suspension. The ride will be very different. Go and see Albert 0122017792. He repaired my Hydraulic system many years ago when I had the 735iL.

has you fixed it? i have got mind fixed at Titan. Superb handling now. Use back the self levelling system.. I can call myself a sifu now on this matter

BUMP! AAM, any update on your suspension? Mine is totally screwed hehehehe when my front goes over speed bump, i feel BMW comfort, when my rear goes over speed pump, i can feel a kick in my ass hehehehe

Need some ideas. Share your solution pls (and costs).

Mine is just a minor leak ....rear RHS....not sure where it originated.....havent gone for full check up yet. So far it has not affected the ride and performance.....just need a regular topping up of Pentosin ......once in 2 weeks.....not much.
