Dear forummers,i need help or advice on how to remove the plastic stains on my rear windscreen (inside) after the removal of the window tint. Its all harden and figure might need some strong chemical to remove it.All advice and suggestion appreciated! Thanks!

why don't you try using dishwasher liquid. just an idea, me self never done that before.

Thanks Pussy! Went to Tint-Shop at Uptown and got it done for Rm30! Cool...now its crystal clear vision!

:)

I have done it by using a hair dryer to heat the glass to soften the glue. after the glue is soften, just wipe it off with soft cloth. Final cleaning with light solvent.

Just be careful nead demister area.

My rear windscreen is now turning yellow..not tinted. Is it possible to clean it back to clear?

what?? How can it turned yellowish by itself?
I had water mark in between the tinting film and glass. Si beh jalat....sign

It's a bit tidious, but I use WD4 to dissolve the glue, had to do it a couple of times but the glue residues eventually dissappeared. Ride was smelling like WD4 for weeks but it subsided eventually.

yaloo... how did the "specialist" do it? can share with us DIY kaki ma.. its not about the RM30... its about getting hands dirty that's fun.. :D

ehhh....all i saw was plenty of "solution" used.....something to soften the film and something to remove the rubber/gum stain, then finally some autosol to polish off the glass and demister lines, then finish off with windex....after that you know la....sparkling clear screen.
