what max Bhp can a diff of e30 318 can handle? can it handle 250+ bhp?:driver:

Change to the bigger casing diff... The stock diff of the 318i is of the smaller size.

As mentioned by fabian, change to bigger casing and you'll be fine. It will be able to take RB's as well as supra's engines as commonly seen. Getting the right ratio that suites your driving preference and settings is quite a hassle.
