my e28 is a 528i with discs all round...many people say to upgrade the front calipers and discs to e32...i just have some questions regarding that:1. how much of an improvement am i going to see...if one were to estimate,...what would the percentage of the increase in performance be? (i.e 20% better? or 30% better?)2. does the spec of e32 matter? like whether its 728i,735i etc...(im using 17" ac type 2 rims)..so yea m not reli sure if the calipers are different spec and size...3.will e32's brake servo fit my e28?4.is ABS brakes gonna be an issue? as my e28 has no ABS whereas the e32 probably does... 5.are there different types of brake booster/servo for different year of e32? can the different types fit e28? which is the best type?well thats all i guess....looking forward to ur replies....thanks!

some of my answers might help you.

1. how much of an improvement am i going to see...if one were to estimate,...what would the percentage of the increase in performance be? (i.e 20% better? or 30% better?)

- not much, the brakes will have less fade.. maybe 15% on the high side.

2. does the spec of e32 matter? like whether its 728i,735i etc...(im using 17" ac type 2 rims)..so yea m not reli sure if the calipers are different spec and size...

- yes, the 730i e32 is using the 22mm thickness, where else the 735i is 28mm thick.

3.will e32's brake servo fit my e28?

- nope, it wont fit, cos yours is the hydraulic type. the e32 versions some had vacuum types..

4.is ABS brakes gonna be an issue? as my e28 has no ABS whereas the e32 probably does...

no issues...

5.are there different types of brake booster/servo for different year of e32? can the different types fit e28? which is the best type?

n.a.

thanks for the information bro....btw if i cant use the servo from the e32...i wont really be getting much benefit from upgrading the calipers and disc right?

also...how big can i go with the discs...22mm or 28mm?

btw when u said it wont fit...were u implying i need to do some modification or did u mean that nothing can be done...

once again thank you for ur speedy reply to my query!
