Hello my fellow classic owners I have just been added to this club and need help replacing interior carpetings, cockpit wood + Leather and seat-retouch. Unfortunately I do not know where to begin. Someone help Please.....

Bought the car from mudah! had to fix gearbox and so far so good as performance is concerned.. No proton i've driven [mark words:I HAVE DRIVEN] comes close in power and stability. I need to do a lot of work on it though like the body needs a new dress and paint. the interior needs work.. I want to pass by blue green but need an estimate before i can swing my sorry self into a dragon's den.. am hoping they can deal with issues like rust, exhaust, body and all.. I want to take pictures after I have got it up to standard because now it dont look so nice...

Now that is what makes the story exciting. Pictures as the ugly duckling and the transformation to a swan. Don´t be shy, we know how it is to take over a project that needs TLC

From what i can see, you have a good start. Little bit of rust, very normal on those cars. Give that some attention. Can´t see from pictures if you can recover the paint by rubbing it down, and do touchup on rust-spots, or if you need a whole pain-job? From what i can see the color looks like Schwarz (086).

Interior is worn at places, but it looks like a easy repair. Dash looks clean (no sun damage).

Engine Runs??

That could be the most expensive to restore. But the sound of healthy a M30 engine doing 120 on North-South Expressway will relax you at 2500 rpm compared to a Proton doing 5000 rpm at same speed

What ever you do, never run your engine overtemp. That was an expensive repair.

I have pair of these babies, both running, but one with a pretty decent black leather interior is ready to be parted out,and the other (735 registered as a classic so road tax is rm350 per year) is being sold due to another car coming in.

Thanks to Beemernut I did an interior swap. Car just got out of spray shop and I must say, They did some good body work. Here are a few rush pics. Excuse the quality. Will upload better pics after I do some good detailing of both interior and exterior.

Car is in Ipoh (which is where im going tonight). Mechanic told me seems like running on 4 or 5 cylinders. More likely injector sumbat. Car been sitting for NINE years...
