DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - SRI MANIS AUTO IN JALAN PUDU KLthey recently advertised a 328ci with so called M3 csl kit for sale.i went there to have a look.what a rojak looking car. bloody con job. it was just the csl replica front and rear bumpers with a diy made in malaysia quad exhaust. no wide fenders, no M trims.worst of all, the car was kept locked and therefore you could only view it from the exterior and by looking into the window.the salesman who attended me said his boss will only open the car up if i agreed on his asking price.i told him to piss off and i left.what an insult and arrogance.bloody prick and jerk. this is a car not worth looking at. i strongly do not recommend this company or the car to anyone who reads this.

Yes...I agree with you. I went there to have a look once before I bought my car from AB. After looking at a unit that I like and I ask for the keys and start the car and there was many alert light up on the concole panel. Then they said that this could be resolve, its just a minor problem. Then after the explaination I ask for a test drive. They told me something that surprise me"We don't allow test drive unless you agree to purchase the car with a first payment". I told them to keep their car and walk off. I really think it's a con job they're doing there.

man! i guess the cars there were thrashed by previous owners, hence the warning lights and reluctantcy for test drives and even unlocking the doors..

Good job hitman, thanks for sharing.

even i was going to have a look there today....thanks for the heads up.

Since there are quite afew e46 owners here, infact all BMW enthusiasts, maybe we shd start
a new thread recommending "more pleasant" car dealers.
That way, we can bypass those idiots like the one mentioned here.

i bet he cannot sell the car for another 6 month with these attitude. same happen to me in a used car in cheras, only can test drive if u confirm the price and downpayment. I got piss and walk off. If i am not mistaken the E46 318i year 2001 silver colour is still there after 4 month initially selling for 127K in Star and drop to 115K now. (serve him right) so arrogant during good time and now price all drop let them suffer see still can lan c or not

btw, they need us more than we need them, there is so manyyyyy used car dealer around, i can choose until i satisfy rather than have to pay u and look at your arrogant face.

MORE PLEASANT DEALERS

Taking cue from our broders suggesting to post note on more pleasant dealers...lemme start mine...

Dealer: SENYING Motor and Credits
Where: Klang

Bought a 320i from him...when i was there, brought me to lunch meh....allowed the car to be brought to a service centre to have the undercarriage check and do MODIC test....was extremely helpful enough to bring all the docs to my office in Shah Alam to have it signed (not once but three times).....lastly, gave me a RM50 voucher for gas....couldn't have asked more....FYI, the gentlemen is not a salesman for Senying...he is the owner of Senying...

hi guys...

Let me share some experience as a used car dealer. Some cars dealer did not allow test drive because there have been car theft during test drive session, especially when involve with luxurious cars. They test the car with one of your salesman inside, drive few miles then point a gun to your salesman ask him to get out and drive the car away. That what we are afraid off. But, if u are really going to buy, u can ask them to provide u warranty, ask them to bring u / car to your workshop to check esp the engine or undercarriage, perform puspakom test. As for me, if i see a guy coming to my showroom pretend to buy my bmw and ask for test drive, i will not allow. That cust must show his / her interest in the car first, plus their income doc, to show that they are qualifed to own one. I rather lost that sales than facing a risk of losing my car.

hope this will explained.

what d hell.. donno how to treat a customer aa? dumb salesman.. i'll pinch his ears if i were u hitman.. :p

Go EOA, they serve me better :)..I'm just asking abou the car...not even insist to buy it yet, but the salesman open almost everything, door, engine hood, the bonnet..start the engine.

But in Sri Manis, there is a car that I dream of, a 320i with Manual Transmission JAP spec selling for 118k...

well said bro !

:D

I think that some of the used car policy is that no test drive until you
are ready to buy the car.

Why? Very simple.. Just imagine 20 persons want to test the car and
the car being not yours yet (what would you do?).. tekan nicely to
make sure that the car is powderful...

How would you feel if you are the 21st person who genuinely want to buy the car and you know that the car have been handed by 20 joy rides..

I remember long time ago, a kid test drive a brand new car at AB and
he crash it during the test drive... So who is responsible?

And how do a car salesman know the difference between
a genuine buyer and a joy rider or a car hijacker????
:dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

So the best policy is not to allow any test drive until you are ready
to buy the car.. but I am sure that the shop would gladly allowed the
car to be verified by an independant workshop.
