Diff bet Mini One & Cooper

Read somewhere the real difference between the 90BHP 103 Lb Ft Mini One and the 115 BHP 111 Lb Ft Mini Cooper is nothing more than the chip. There is a company AmD Technik that makes the upgrade chip.Theoretically I can buy a One for RM147K and upgrade the chip for GBP399.00 and end up with a Cooper and save RM20K.True?

Beside the engine, the cooper has better specifications in terms of trimming. Quite a few M1 owners in MOC Malaysia have ordered the chip upgrade throu internet & download to the ECU themselves.........and have been successful.
