Hey guys, my e30 dashboard rattles very badly. When I drive on uneven roads I can literally see the whole dashboard bouncing. Even the smart tag cannot stay put on a non slip mat in my car!The dash has not been removed in the past 12 years of ownership, no cracks so never had a reason to.How and who can solve this problem, it is getting pretty annoying.Please advise.Cheers!

Only solution is remove the dashboard, refit and retighten all the screws and change the clips and hinges if any. After 12 years, just about right to hear the rattlings....haha
Yup agree with you and furthermore I'm running on lowered suspension hence harder ride and more 'jumping' around.
Is there anyone particular I should get to do this or can I get my mechanic or upholstery/dashboard refurbisher to get it done.
Dont want someone who doesnt know what he's doing to do it and end up it being worse.

It would be fun if you could DIY, then you'll know the internals of the dashboard, on the other hand, if your sceptical in removing it yourself, get a knowledgeble mech to help out. getting an upholstery guy to do it for you.
