My car shake if I turn and drive at medium speed say 80 km. Is it a CV Joint or Ball Joint problem ? Need the advise of you gurus out there.Thanks.Terry

did you check your front tire no unbalanced ware? and did you change rim recently?

Mine after checking found out that my front rim bore size is 74+ E46 only use 72+ so... the tire is uneven when bolted on...

But Car shake can also be caused by unbalanced rim...

Last would be the Ball Joint and front bushings...

then again this is what ive heard from all other sifu here... so they might shed better light on this

Changed both Control Arm with Ball Joint. Also changed bushing. Now there is a little hole in my pocket.

AFAIK BMWs are rear wheel drive hence there is no CV joints. Correct me if I am wrong.

Could be due to the differential shafts worn or steering parts/suspension issues.

Cheers

The ball joint is connected to a control arm- triangular structure. Its at the front wheel.
