Correct E34 520i 24v M50 idle speed rpm

what is the correct idle speed for this model ?1. 600 rpm (without air-cond ON)2. 900 rpm (with air-cond ON)i see some snapshots on eBAY that idle speed should be 600 rpm without air-cond ?

My ride idle as follw,

1. 600rpm - with air con "OFF"
2. 800rpm - with air con "ON"

Mine when started at cold engine, 600rpm. All the way with or w/out air con also 600. Is that good? :nyehehe:

At cold start,it should idle higher.With air-cond,it should
idle higher too.

My personal experience, an engine shouldn't idle anything lower
than 700rpm.This is 2 provide enough engine oil pressure
2 lubricate da cam.

An ideal idle should b 750 +/- 50rpm without air-cond
& 850+/-50rpm with air-cond depending on engine models.

2. how to ensure a steady idle speed - any components/parts
that we need to clean etc ?
