Hi guys,This week, my auto gearbox was acting funny.Shifting to R would sometimes result in a delay of 1-2 seconds before the reverse gear actually engaged. And when in D, the engine would always rev freely for abit when shifting. My mech says it's the clutch slipping. He gave me two choices:Get a second hand gearbox from a chopshop, but warranty oni 1-2 weeks since chop shop condition also unknown.Est Cost: RM2.4k including labourOr, overhaul my current gearbox with new parts for whatever needs to be replaced.Est Cost: RM3.2k including labourI myself am thinking of a 3rd option and that is to just switch to a 5spd manual instead. Will that be cheaper? I'm talking total cost as well. I've seen ppl selling M40 engine + gearbox for
