convert bmw

hai guy,i'm a new in this bmw world, but i want buy a bmw 318i(a) year 97.i just want to know if i can convert it into bmw 318i year 2000 or m3 bodykit. if you all know plz tell me the price and their pic. please help me. i was so confuse.

year 2000 318i would be E46....

So what sort of conversion are you really referring to????

Then better buy an E46......It's not easy to convert it cos this 2 model totaly diff......moreover not all ppl will appreciate it if in furture u intend to sell it....

Anyway is ur money n car.....If u feel worthy ....Just go ahead......

thats means if i want convert it will come a many problem.
i ask it becoz 318i year 97 is rm60 k but 318i year 2000 is abot 140k.

It'll never look as 'real' as the real McCoy becos the dimensions are different...
It may even make the owner look cheapskate.
No money to buy real thing yet wanna look as though he's got it... Ppl would just say 'Nice car' but laugh behind your back. No offence.

Work harder to get the real thing. Make it your goal.

Dude there's so many ways you can soup up an E36! Depending on what style you want.

totally agree...better to get an E46 instead of changing the E36 to E46...already problems with stock car as it is..

convert e36 to e46 won't be cheap either, probably set u back 10-20k. Might as well use that 20k to top up for the e46.

get 17" wheels and get a e36M3 bodykit, it will look good enough, get some sports springs and it will look better

you do not have the budget for yr2000 model. do not force urself to get one if you can't afford it. follow within ur budget.
for a start, model e36 318i yr97 is good enough. since it's within ur budget.
from then on, you can do up the car slowly... but not to the extreme...
fabianyee is right about converting it to e46... It may even make the owner look cheapskate.

actualy you can do the following things:-

front bumper of a E46 M3
rear bumper of a E46 M3
Front light lips
change the front bonnet to E46 (this one a little bit susah)

this has been done and pics has been shown somewhere in this forum
