Hi everyoneA friend is offering to sell me his E46. Specs are as follows:Year 2000/2005Japan Specs M-Sport2.0L Double Vanos 6-cylinderMileage 272kInterior and exterior is in excellent condition with leather seats and sunroof. It's a reluctant sale on his part.I'd appreciate it very much if the experts here could let me know the following:1) Is this generally a good model to own for the long term?2) Are there any known issues with this model year?3) What should I get checked out as priority if I decide to buy?4) What would be a fair price based on these specs?Your opinion and any other info you might like to share would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, I don't think there are M-Sport models for year 2000 (pre-facelift). They only came in in the facelifted model after 2002. Milleage is abit on the high side buy if it came with full service records then okay. Fair price check Mudah.

If i not wrong all import fr Japan model they make it one year later, that mean year of make should be 1999, but it doesn't matter, as long as the car in good condition, if u love this model it should be to own for long term, there is no big issue for this model, just normal wear n tear, look for a mach who repair this kind of car n hv a health check, in Sabah market this car around 40-45k
