Clarification

Sifus, Guys, n GalsWould like clarification on this i.e. is the E36 325 starter/alternator (not sure which) equipped with solenoid and if this solenoid is faulty how would this affect the UDM.Would appreciate inputs.

If it's the starter, engine won't crank..
if it's the alternator, battery won't get recharged properly and possible leakage causing the battery to go flat.

Fabian, do you know the cost to replace solenoids for both the starter and the alternator??
