The new C5 (my chinese friendhate this car because it reads ...Ci bye:rolleyes:) Unmistakeably German?Been following this new C5 from Sg. Besi to PJ. Seemed like showroom car with trade plate. Look very nice but i don't like the side mirror. kinda oldschool. Wonder huw much is the price tag. any comment guys? just don't expect much on performance

i would buy this car, its worth the money
 
nice looking car. but i would be really worried about reliability and resale.

performance i doubt it will even come close to the japs, let alone the germans!

but in these economic times, it may do well. who knows?
 
Maintenance seems to be steep according to my fren who's driving one.. Safe car though...
 
french cars are known to be very safe. their philosophy is different from jap or proton.
 
i tried to find out more about the C5 on the malaysian citroen website. KOSONG. very sad, and typical of their lack of support for this brand.

-2.0 4cyl 16valves VVT with 143hp@6k , 4speed autobox (0-100 12.8secs)
-3.0 V6 24valves with 215@6k , 6speed autobox (0-100 10secs)

It features:
- Xenon Dual-function Directional Headlamps
- Parking Space Gap Sensor
- Fixed-centred Steering Wheel
- Electronic Parking Brake
- 5-star Euro NCAP Rating
- 7 Airbags

However im not sure about the price yet...
 
According to the papers the top speed for 2.0's are 205km/h and 3.0's are 224km/h

the engine is pretty slow...
 
Its not my cup of tea anyway...but certainly its a good deal for citroen lovers with all these gadgets
