Central locking malfunction

Hi to all, My ride is a E36 318i A 96 and have been having this problem for the past few months. When I press the remote button to lock the car, sometimes the back left side does'nt lock and there is no alarm. Normally when one or more doors are not closed properly,and when you press the lock button, an alarm is given out. After opening and closing that door again it will be O.K again. Anyone experiencethis kind of problem before?Cheers,

i am having a similar problem with my central locking. the back right door doesn't always lock. even if i use the key. im guessing mine is worn out and i will need to replace it but im not sure yet. will have to take it apart.

if anyone has fixed this let me know
