Can't connect my iphone to idrive

Hi guys,i have a iphone 3gs. i used to be able to connect my phone and the songs will show up on idrive. but now it just says not detectable. car went in for update recently. anyone face the same problem?

try change cable? el cheapo cable might have putus internally over the months.
