Can e60 rim fit in e39?

Can e60 rim fit in e39? Some said dangerous, some say ok, some say vibra..:106:

can fit, but u need the hub eccentric cones to minimise the vibration..

i strongly advice u not to take the risk....... even few mm extra on the trimming of the center hole will cause alot of vibration to the car....

I trade my OLD rims for this set, Was told it frm e 60 . The rims Ori BMW rims with printed " Made in Italy" on the inner rims

Fit well without me need to do any adjustment > Set back i hate the tyre as a bit thick . But wat to do .. Shop deal is sell rim with tyres only

unless my not e 60 rims becos no need hub eccentric cones , but for my e 38 yes as the rims is a M5 series rims . Cost me RM 30 buck for the cones .

vmsdisc, the e60 rim fit in e60 or e39 initially when u trade in? Or it' s a new rim when u trade in?

Then how about ur e38? The M5 rim bring vibra to ur car when cruising 90km/h and 150km/h? since u use the hub eccentric cones, so i wish to confirm..

It on vibrate at 80- 90 km a bit which i hv not go back to tyre shop to figure out what is the problem , but 100Km above , power man . last trip back to melaka 180km fly like a bird .. my HM complain me drive like craze :thefinger:

no.. only very very slight vibration, which gone even at 95Km. 100 above cantik. I suspect something to do with my arm support whcih this car hv at first place .

1 more thing .. the new rim for e 38 at 19" much lighter then then previous 18 " which i think is due to tyre

pm me ur no. i xplain to ya on the phone...

a set of rims with 74.1mm center hole + center hole to fix on E38 it will cause slight vibration which can be fix "on-wheel" at the shop

and if a set of rims with 74.6mm trim to 74.1mm to fix on E39 it will cause vibration even with just 0.2 or 0.3 mm in diffferent....

i experience this situation b4...i strongly strongly dont agree this method....
